A custom grill is precision dental jewelry — hand-fitted from impressions of your own teeth, then crafted in metal (gold, silver, platinum) and optionally set with stones. Unlike clip-on grills, ours fit only one mouth: yours.
A clip-on grill is a generic shape forced over the teeth — it shifts, it traps food, it doesn't quite fit anyone. A custom grill is made from a dental impression of your own teeth, so it sits perfectly, looks seamless, and can be put in and out without struggle.
We work in solid gold (10K, 14K, 18K), white gold, silver, and rhodium-plated finishes. Stones include diamonds, cubic zirconia, and other set crystals. We can also do open-face designs (showing the tooth through the metal) for a more subtle look.
Step 1: Consultation, we discuss the design, the material, and the look you want. Step 2: We take precise dental impressions. Step 3: A dental technician crafts the grill from those impressions, sets any stones. Step 4: You return for the final fitting. Total turnaround: typically 2–3 weeks.
Most clients wear their grill only for occasions or events. We don't recommend eating or sleeping with the grill in. Removal and reinsertion is intuitive after the first fit.
Custom grills at Piwan Dental start from UGX 400,000 for a single-tooth gold piece, scaling up by tooth count, material, and stone choice. A full upper-row diamond grill ranges between UGX 1.5M–2.5M. We can quote precisely after the consultation.
Yes — many clients do. We can complete the impressions in one visit and ship the finished grill, or schedule both appointments around your travel.
