The Piwan Mobile Dental Unit is a fully equipped off-road dental clinic built to reach communities across Northern Uganda. Using our specially equipped Toyota Land Cruiser, we deliver quality dental services directly to villages, schools, businesses and trading centres.

Northern Uganda has millions of people but very few dental professionals. Many families travel for hours just to have a painful tooth removed. Many never go.

The mobile unit provides dental check-ups, cleaning, tooth extractions, fillings, oral health education, and screening. More complex treatments are referred to the main Piwan Dental clinic in Gulu.

The unit serves communities across Northern Uganda, including Gulu, Amuru, Nwoya, Omoro, Pader, Kitgum, Lamwo, Agago, and surrounding districts. Its off-road capability means it can reach remote villages and trading centres.
Costs depend on the services needed and the size of the group. Community and school outreach is often subsidised or free through Oral Health Uganda. Contact us for a quote for your community, business, or event.
