From Okwici village to a chair on Juba Road.
The Dental Man — Geofrey — grew up in Okwici village during the years when the war reached Northern Uganda. The family was abducted, then escaped — first to Kampala, eventually back home when the peace returned.
He went to dental school in Gulu. Today he sees patients at Piwan Dental and Pii Wan Medical Centre, teaches the next generation at Gulu College of Health Sciences, and leads Oral Health Uganda — taking free care to villages that have never seen a dentist. He is no longer alone in the work: a growing clinical team now shares the chair.
Two clinics. One school. One nonprofit. The same belief that began in childhood: care should reach everyone, no matter where they live.
